1 Corinthians 9:25
“Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”
In order to journey on this Christian walk one just be ready and dedicated. One must be ready to make decisions and make the sacrifices needed to proceed to the end. To go through this journey you must be willing to beat your flesh into submission. One must be willing to give up their flesh in order to live a Holy life.
As a believer you must learn to train your heart and your mind (thoughts). You must learn to tune yourself only for the things that speaks Christ. You must train yourself in the word of God and in discipline. As one who run you must discipline your mind and you body. You must work out and practice in order to get to a place you desire. In the same way, one must keep themselves drowned in God’s word as a believer. You must keep yourself in tune with the Holy Spirit and in alignment with the commands of God. You have to put both your physical and your spirit man into training to ensure that you are do not loose out in this race of life. As you journey through this walk be sure to prepare yourself to train, that way you are ready for all that life has to offer.
