Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
Who do you call to when finding yourself in any predicament? Is your first instinct your family, friends, or co-workers? We always call unto everyone but the one with the power to help. The sad thing, however, is these options aren’t still there for us. Their inability to assist is no fault of theirs, but they are not always available. The one person who is always available, rain or shine is our Father in heaven. He is faithful and gracious.
The Lord is our God. Always there for us even in the darkest days of our lives. He provides strength to the weak and comfort to the hurting. He is the one to turn to when you need help. When trouble appears He is always there to counteract. Before you call unto Him, He is already there. There is no refuge like the Lord neither will there ever be any like Him. What are the troubles you are facing? What issues are holding you back in life? Whatever the situation may be, take heart and know that the greatest warrior and refuge is in your corner. He is Mighty and able, so give all your troubles to Him, and He will rescue you.
