Micah 6:8
No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
Do you sometimes feel like your only way out of a situation is to do what is unacceptable and evil in the sight of God? Most people think this way when they find themselves in peculiar circumstances. They are made to believe that there is no way out for them and for this reason they make decisions that usually affect them and those around them. We have an enemy, and especially as children of God that enemy desire is to draw us as far away from God as possible so he can destroy us. One of the ways he does this is by feeding us with lies especially when we are in stressful situations. He makes us believe that we have no way out of our problems and that our only way out is to do things that go against God’s word.
We ought to do what is right. We have to do what is right by God and walk humbly before Him. The only way we can do that is to keep away from the lies of the enemy. It is our responsibility to walk upright and to choose justice and peace when they present themselves. We all know what is right because the Bible clearly spells that out for us. Don’t ever allow yourself to feel like you have no option, or no choice to make when you are presented with right and wrong. You have the Holy Spirit living inside of you, and He is all you need to live the life that God requires of you. From this day forth, purpose in your heart to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit given to you. Choose to do good because you can and because it’s the best decision you can make.
