John 12:35
Jesus replied, “My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going.”
If you walk in darkness, you will fall. It is bound to happen because darkness blinds and cripples to where you are unable to move. Most importantly, darkness will only overtake you as if you allow it. The only way to enable darkness to have its way in our lives is by voluntarily getting rid of the light. God is light, and as long as we walk with Him, we have access to the light that He provides. He is shining His light upon us day in and out, and it is our choice to decide to walk in it.
You must ask yourself if you are surrounding yourself with darkness or light? Darkness and light can also be determined by the influences around you. The crowd you associate with, the music you listen to, the tv shows and movies you watch.
These are all things that play a role in the light or darkness in our daily lives. You must open yourself up for the Light of God so that you do not stumble and fall. As it is clearly stated those who walk in darkness cannot see. Therefore do be unjust to yourself. Seek the Light and walk in it. Choose life.
