Indeed our hope is in the Lord, the one who is our hope of Glory. We ought to hope in no one but the Lord. Our souls ought to wait for no one but Him. If we put our hope in God and in His word we will never be deceived because His Word is power and truth. We have the freedom to hope in Him because He doesn’t hold any record of our sins. He is a forgiving Father and because of this, we are able to stand and always return to Him.
Many people wish they had hope but they do not. However, we have been blessed to have Christ to hold on to. We have access to the only true hope that this world has ever known. As we have been given this privilege let us wait patiently on the Lord and hold tightly to His Word. The honest truth is that without His Word we a sea of hopeless people. Let us then wait upon Him, just as the watchmen wait for the morning let us wait for the Father and dwell at His feet
Psalm 130:5-6
“I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.”
