Deuteronomy 31:8
“And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”
These are tough times and in many ways many of us at some point have wrestled with the thought of throwing in the towel. There are many times where you may not know whether to rise or to remain in your defeat. At some point you have desired to quit. Although times are difficult and things may not be going the way you would want them to, be rest assured that even in the distress and the craziness of this climate one truth remains and that is the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. That He is Lord of all. As sickness rise and the count of death increases, and as riots rise and hate takes the stage one thing remains, the Lord has never left you and he has never forsaken you and He is not about to start now.
He has been with you from the beginning of time and He will continue to be with you. The God of the heavens and of the earth is far beyond the issues that you are facing at this moment. The truth is linear and in these times it is very imperative that you hold on to the truth and allow it shape your life. Do not allow the world around you determine what is true, rather allow the word of God to be the determining factor you base your life on. The Lord is able in keeping you without ever forsaking you. His promises are Yes and Amen. So although times are difficult, and life may seem to take unfamiliar and unexpected turns just trust that the Lord is able to keep you even in these times. Trust Him and Him alone knowing that His word alone is what can carry you through these times.
