June 25 Acts 9:23-15 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.” But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.” As believers there are times where most of us find it hard to show mercy.
June 24 Ephesians 1:5 “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love” It is very easy for one to be deceived when he or she does not know the truth. If we allow the truth to elude us, we then allow the unnecessary things of the world the power to captivate our hearts and our attention. It is when and only when we know our true identity and what we have been called to do that
June 23 Colossians 3:12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Being judgmental and self righteous is easy especially in a world that that teaches us that everything is about the self. A world that preaches self over all else. Although it may sound good to the hear, it is futile for one to allow themselves to be taken over by the thought of self. As God’s Holy people we must indeed clothe ourselves
June 22 Proverbs 28:13 People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. God is a merciful God and He gives us the mercy and the grace to come to Him whenever we need Him. He gives us the opportunity to approach Him without limitations. Because we have such great access to Him, we have the ability to seek forgiveness of our sins without fear. It is not God’s will for any us to live in fear or guilt.
June 21 Psalm 63:3-4“Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.” He is good in all His ways. Indeed His love is better than life. He is merciful in His ways. There is none who can compare to Him and there is no love that can amount to His. He is the Savior of the world. The true King, and perfect redeemer. He is great beyond all
