Proverbs 28:14
As a door swings back and forth on its hinges, so the lazy person turns over in bed.
We all want to be successful in life but not everyone is willing to put in the effort needed to succeed. We all want to be wealthy and well off but we’re not willing to loose sleep or comfort to attain what we want. A lazy person wishes many things but they do nothing to acquire what they desire. A lazy persons effort stops in their head. They think it, and dream it but they never do it. We have been given the grace and ability to attain what ever we set our minds to in this world, however we have to put in work to get where we want to be.
Laziness is no friend of yours. It only seeks to stagnate and destroy you. The truth of the matter is we don’t have to be lazy. Being lazy is a choice and a decision we make. We have to take a look at ourselves and filter our behaviors. We will all see some level of laziness if we look well enough. It is not always the easy route that’s best. Hard work will always pay off if you put your all into it. Do not allow laziness to rob you of the greatness of your future and the life you’ve been given. Rise up and do something. Throw laziness out the door and bring in persistence, hard work, and perseverance.
