1 Chronicles 4:10
He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request.
Do you have a heart desire that you have placed at the feet of the Lord? Do you have a heart desire you have withheld from the Lord because of fear or disbelief? God is a prayer answering God, and those who put their trust in Him reap the benefits. We make God seem like a mean Father when, in reality, many of us withhold our requests from the Lord because we fear that He will not answer. The notion of our Father as ‘mean’ is untrue and unfair. If you are withholding from God, because of your own insecurity, then you are making a big mistake in your life. God has all the answers, therefore refraining from Him only hurts you and not anyone else.
God can do above and beyond all human understanding. God can meet every request you have now or will ever have. If you have laid a desire at His feet, and you have not seen results, it’s not because He cannot do it. Instead, it is because your Father knows best. He either is creating something better or withholding for your good or for a better time. Lift all your prayer and desires to the Lord, knowing and believing that He can answer it all. There’s nothing He cannot do, so when speaking to the Lord leave everything at His feet. Give Him your all, and He will do for you what you cannot do for yourself
