Psalm 8:3-4
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— 4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?
How often do you stop yourself just to take a moment to ponder and reminisce on the goodness of God. A God so great and powerful that He single handedly created the heaven and the earth. A God so mighty that he created all creation by the mere sound of His voice and man out of the dust of the earth. A God so glorious that His face no man can see and live. A God so merciful that He gave up the life of His precious Son for the life of humanity. A God so great that He holds time and space in His bare hands. A God so supernaturally powerful that at His very presence all things bow down.
This is the God that we serve. This is the God that loves us so. Who are we that such an unexplainable God would be mindful of us? Yet His grace and His love is so abundant and evident in our lives. Who are we that He calls us His own and loves us with a love that cannot be comprehended by mere human minds. His goodness has given us the chance to also be worthy His grace and love. Humble yourself before this God who is wonderful in all His ways. Submit to this God who has given up the life of His own to give you life. Despite our flaws He still love us. Open yourself to Him and exalt Him for indeed there is no one like our God, the one who is ever so mindful of us.
