2 Peter 2:1
“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.”
Beware of those among you. Be careful of those in your circle who pretends to be of the Lord however they are present only to bring forth destruction.
Beware of false prophets who may be in your midst. Those who pretend to have the character of Christ however behind the veil they are filled with pure evil. Those who will pretend they are presenting the word of God however they present lies and heresies. Be vigilant and be wise in your ways. Keep a sharp eye and mind. Engulf yourself in the word of God, that you may be able identify the wolves in sheep clothing who come around you. Allow yourself the chance to be planted deep in the Lord, so you are able to see the deception of the wicked one. Many will come around you in pretense, but you must stand rooted in God, so as to weed out everything that is contrary to Him. Be vigilant and defeat all heresies with the unadulterated truth of the Lord.
