Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD . “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.
One of the worst things you can do to yourself is to allow sin to keep you away from God and control your very livelihood. When you sin the first thing you want to do is hide your face from the Lord. Which in actuality is contrary to why we should do. For even in your sin the Lord is able to wash you clean.
When you fall into sin, the decision that should follow next, is turning to God. The enemy’s tactic is to keep you in your sins and keep you in from surrendering to God in your moments of weakness. However, it is in those movements that you need to allows the forgiving spirit and nature of God to overwhelm you. There is no sin too great for God to forgive. Do not live in your sin, believing the lie of the enemy that your sins are beyond God’s grace. God is a merciful God and He does not in any way want you to dwell in your sin. He is able to cleanse you and make you as white as snow no matter how filthy you may be. So no matter where you find yourself, no matter how deep in sin you are, turn to God and allow Him to wash you with the blood of the Lamb. You are not too far gone for the Lord to reach you. Lift up your hands and He will lift you up.
