James 1:12
“Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”
At times when you’re experiencing certain unpleasant elements in life or even going through tough and seemingly unbearable seasons in life it is very easy to feel as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel. It is easy to feel defeated and have the desire to give up. It is however those moments where you are tempted the most that you ought to push and go deeper.
As scripture says, blessed are you who persevere under trail. As a believer you do not have to throw in the towel at the face of adversity. It is in those difficult times that you ought to stand your ground and fight. There are many tests and trails that will come your way, but you must be a fighter. It is the one who endures and fight that will receive the reward of the Father. The victor’s crown belongs only to those who stand and fight for they are the ones whom the promises of the Lord belongs to. No matter what your season is, No matter what you’re going through at this moment know that there is a light at the end of your tunnel. You only need to stand firm, leaning only on the strength of your Father. Life will indeed have it’s down but you must fight to receive the crown of life.
May the Lord help you and give you the grace to stand firm and fight in the name of His Son Jesus, amen.
