Daniel 3:17-18
If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.
How willing are you to take a stand for your God, your faith and truth. It’s very easy to think you believe something or stand for something until you are put to the test. When you have nothing opposing you, you can stand firmly but the moment oppositions arise the story changes. That however should not be the case. As a believer your stance should remain the same. Immovable and unshaken in the Lord even when oppositions rise. There are times that doubt and fear may attempt to creep in in many different circumstances however your faith should always remain.
You must stand firm in your faith and in the one in whose shadow you are hidden. You must take a stance deciding that no matter what happens you will stand for the Lord. You must trust the Lord is able to save you in every circumstance. With that truth you must also understand that if He allows you to go through something or endure through a difficult stage it is because He knows what He is doing. He is able to do anything, so even in the instances where you may think He isn’t doing much just know that He is working. Trust in Him at all times. Let the action of your faith speak louder than the words of your mouth. As the three Hebrew boys took a stand in their situations standing firmly on their God, you also do the same in all things. He is God and He is able, above all He is on your side.
