Romans 16:17
“I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.”
You have the responsibility of watching out for you own self. There are many wolves in sheep’s clothing all around us. Those who will pretend to have your best interest at heart while killing you slowly. There are those who will act as though your growth means the world to them, but behind close doors they work against your growth. Some people will even go as far as becoming what you want them to be just to win you over. Beware of anyone who tries to maliciously deceive you into believing half truths. Be careful of those who tell you lies.
Anyone who attempts to teach you anything contrary to the Word of God cannot be trusted. keep away from anyone who creates division amongst you. Be watchful of those around who always cause problems. Be mindful of those whom you call your friends. Not everyone in your circle has your best interest at heart. Be alert, making sure that no one is putting any obstacle in your way. Sift through your surroundings and rid yourself of anyone that brings toxicity into your life. Be sure not to fall for anyone whose life and actions are contrary to the Word.
