John 15:13
“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
Every day is a beautiful day. A blessed and privileged day that the Lord graciously and a mercifully gifts us with. It is a day worth remembering, that someone years and years ago gave up their life so that you and I could live. It is a day in which our king deserves praise, glory, honor and adoration. A day worth reminiscing on the goodness and selflessness of our Lord and Jesus. There is a saying that goes, God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Indeed He is good there are not enough words in our vocabulary the express and describe His goodness and His kindness.
As you wake up today and as you go through your day, thank the King of Glory for the mercies of God. Reminisce on the selfless acts of Jesus Christ as He gave Himself up to be crucified and tortured so that you and I may have life and have it more and more abundantly. Think on that goodness, remember that love that drove Him to do such a thing and give Him all the praise all of the honor. Exalt Him on a high for He indeed is good. He gave up His life so you can live, so do all you can to make sure you live a life that counts.
