Galatians 6:7

Don’t be misled – you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.

Often times when we involve ourselves in certain behaviors, actions and decisions we do not stop to think of the consequences it may yield. There are instances where we do things without thinking. Sometimes we see evil yet we approach it because for some absurd reason we think we are beyond the repercussions that our actions and inactions bring.

As much as God is a loving God He is also a God of justice. He stands for justice just as much as he stands for love. However most people are ignorant to this truth. Most people believe they can go out and do what they please come back and plead for mercy through God’s love. They think that God‘s love will always override His justice. We must however remember that just as our parents love us, just as they will move the world over for us, they also discipline us when necessary. Although we know of their love we also know of their justice. As much as your parents would not allow you to rot, so the Lord will not allow you to rot.

So be reminded that you will reap what you sow. You will receive consequences for your actions not because God does not love you not because He hates you but because His love is just as valid as His justice.
