Galatians 1:10
“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
It is very difficult to be in the will of God and that of a man at the same time. It is hard trying to fulfill God’s word when we are steadily trying to please every man. We cannot be servants of two masters, therefore we have to choose this day who we will please. When we begin to worry about the approval of men we begin to lose our way. This is so because when we remove our eyes from God everything begins to take a left turn. The approval stamp of man will always fade because man himself is at times unstable in his decision. But the approved and weighted stamp of God is eternal.
If we are servants of God we need to be concerned with what His will and purposes are for our lives. If we are servants of Christ, He should be the one we go to for direction in our lives. He should be the source that we are plugged into.
Check your thoughts today and your motives, take a deep survey of it all and ask yourself do I live my life and make decisions based on the words of man or of God.
