Proverbs 15:16
“Better to have little, with fear for the Lord, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil.”
Gratefulness is a very critical trait we all ought to exercise. When you have God you have everything good! Even when you are physically lacking in some areas always know that because you have God you have it all! It is better to be grateful for the little that you have than to greedily acquire treasures and yet suffer. If you put God and the things that are of Him first everything comes running to you, but if you have everything and not God then you are completely over your head and have already lost it all. Do not worry about acquiring treasures at the expense of your salvation. Do not worry about having the whole world when you do not have the slightest relationship with God.
Put God before everything and as long as He’s is first everything else shall surely follow! Always remember that it is better to fear God and have little than it is to have everything in the absence of God. Remember also that whatever is little in our hands is greater than anything when we give it over and put it in the hand of God. Let us reset our minds in a way that we find the goodness in every situation.
