Hebrews 2:18 NIV “Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.”
Because He has been there He understands and knows how to help you. Christ walked the earth and was tempted in every way. He suffered the same way you suffer and even more. He knows everything you go through. There is nothing He does not know. We often we discredit God in so many ways, because we think that He does not understand us. More often than not we discredit Him in our time of suffering. In many cases we don’t go to Him in our times of distress because we think that He cannot relate to us. What we fail to realize is that He went through everything we can ever imagine and more. We fail to realize that there’s nothing new under the sun that He doesn’t know about.
We often ask ourselves can God really help me, does He really understand my situation? Be encouraged and know that God sees and knows everything. Christ came down and lived and suffered for you and I so there’s nothing you go through that He hasn’t felt whether it be rejection, pain, temptation, sorrow, etc. He has been through it all so when you’re going through anything in life look to Him because He is the only one who understands and the only one who can help you.
He feels you. He understands you. He is and will always be there for you. Look to Him and keep a fixed eye on Him.
