Judges 7:7
The Lord told Gideon, “With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home.”
As Christians one of the main things we must always be very cognizant about is the Sovereignty, the Wisdom, Power, Might, and all the attributes of the Lord. I think it’s save to say sometimes we forget who God is. We sometimes get into our own heads and utilizing our very limited understanding we make judgments and decisions based on what we think we know.
Looking at this scripture above why would any one face an army of 135,000 men with 300 men? That however is the point. no one would do that, however God in the power of His might is able to do that and much more. One thing that is always good to remember is that we serve a God of impossibilities. There is nothing too difficult for the Lord and as such when God speaks we ought to walk in those instructions. As believers our trust and our hope should be in the Lord against all odds. Sometimes God uses the impossible circumstances in our life to show case His power and His might. Having that in mind we should be reminded that the Lord always has our best interest at heart. Meaning no matter how difficult life and it’s circumstances may be the Lord will always work it out for your good.
Be encouraged knowing that the Lord got you even in things that do not seem to be working in your favor. So no matter what you are going through, listen to the Lord because only He sees the future. He alone has the power to give you true victory. Just as the Lord did for Gideon and his people, so can He do for you. Trust in Him and you will not be disappointed.
