January 6
Sadly we have all unconsciously conditioned ourselves to believe that we’re somehow invincible to time. We often convince ourselves that time and chance will present itself tomorrow. We live in ignorance as though we own ourselves. Who are we to play chess with time? Who are we to tell time what it ought to do? Truth is time is not indebted to anyone. Knowing this, we ought to take heed to the way we live our life.
The Bible says in Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.” Though at first glance we probably won’t pay much attention to this word, but we must heed to it. Truly there is coming a time where we will be seeking God but He won’t be found. There is coming a time where we will be crying out and pleading and our cry will not be heard. There is a time for everything and this is definitely a time of seeking or building of growth and much more.
Stop putting your relationship with God on hold for a later season, because you don’t know how much time you have left on this earth. Not only that, every season will have its own ups and downs; therefore there will never be a better time to seek God like now. Don’t put God on hold now or He will be forced to put you on hold when you finally decide you are ready. The time to be ready is now. It’s just opening yourself up to Him and allowing Him to come into your life. Seek God while He’s still available, and can still be found. Do not wait until it’s too late because if you do the joke will be on you, and you will be the only one who loses. So seek Him and you will surely find Him! He is there waiting for you!
Isaiah 55:6
6 Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
