Isaiah 51:12-13
“I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear? Yet you have forgotten the LORD, your Creator, the one who stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. Will you remain in constant dread of human oppressors? Will you continue to fear the anger of your enemies? Where is their fury and anger now? It is gone!
This is a reminder of the God you serve. There was no one behind or before Him. He’s a mighty God, the creator of all universe. The God that you serve has the whole world in His hands. It is very easy to forget this at times when life isn’t going your way. When things begin to take a turn for the worse you somehow forget the very core of truth that our Lord Jesus Christ is King.
This serves as a reminder that no matter what is going on in your life no matter the circumstances no matter the depth of the situation our God is still Lord. Do not lose sight over this do not forget that He can do more than we can ever imagine. Remember even in the darkest of moments that the Lord is a God and He is your Lord. Do not forget that God is in ultimate control of everything concerning you. Do not fear mere humans look to the Lord He is the one with the power to change your life.
