Psalm 90:12
“So teach us to number our days, That we may cultivate and bring to You a heart of wisdom.”
It is the Lord who can teach you to number your days, and as a human being that is one of the important things you must learn to do. And it is the wise man who has even the smallest inclination to number his days because he knows it’s value.
Life is short and no one knows the day they will be born or the day their life on this earth will come to an end. The quality of the life that you live is important. Someone can live 20 years and accomplish more in life as well as make more impact and influence than someone who lived to be 75 years old. Quality matters, however, you can only learn to number your days with the grace and mercy of God. If you do not number your days, you will live life anyhow and make decisions that springs forth negative outcomes which will eventually have a negative impact on your life.
You must learn to number your days that you may cultivate a heart of wisdom as scripture says. Be intentional with everything you do and with every decision that you make. Live your life like tomorrow is not guaranteed because in reality it isn’t. Let the Spirit of God lead you in all your ways.
