You know that incident that happened? Was it really a coincidence or was it the evidence of Gods hands in your life. Sadly we live in a world where people one of or the other try to take away what God is doing in their lives by attributing every good thing or bad thing to a coincidence rather than Gods grace for us.
Do you remember when you tripped and fell on your face right before you crossed the road only to get up and see that a car had just crashed into the poll which you use in crossing the road, well guess what it wasn’t a coincidence that you tripped and fell it was God saving you from hands of death. Or even that time that the promotion that you deserved was given to the 25-year-old who had only been working for 2years instead, it wasn’t because he was young and vibrant but because God knew that at the place in your life if you received that promotion pride will cause you to fall so He decided to save you from yourself and give to more time to grow in humility. Or that time you got all As on that exam not because you studied so hard because the truth is many study hard yet they fail, but because God wanted to use you as a testimony to someone else. Where God is concerned there is no such thing as coincidence.
He is a God of plan and purpose and there’s absolutely nothing that can ever escape. John 5:6-8 “6 When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.” The lame man being at the pool of Bethesda was not by mere chance. It was all a part of God’s divine plan and purpose. God healed him on the Sabbath for a reason, he could have done so any other day at any other than but he chose that particular day for a purpose. Therefore it wasn’t an accident that you were lost your lost your parent at a young age or that you were mistreated by those who were supposed to love. Those things that happened or didn’t happen were supposed to build you and strengthen you so that that you could impact the life of that 15-year-old boy or girl you would meet 25 years later. So see it’s not a coincidence that you are drawn to the person or that this thing or that thing is a particular way. There is a miracle that is attached to it. We cannot understand wholly the ways of God. But that does not change the fact that He is God. He is in everything that concerns you. So get out of the mindset of thinking everything is a coincidental luck and look again. Look a little deeper and you’ll see the evidence of Gods hands in every single little detail of your life.
John 5:1-8
After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda,[a] having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.[b] 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
