Ecclesiastes 4:10
If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
It is very dangerous to be a state of mind where you are not completely honest with yourself. To find yourself in a place where you think you got this. You can handle it all but in actuality you are weaker than you think. No man is an island and this life and this journey isn’t meant to be walked alone. We are suppose to have people who will keep us accountable. Those who will not sugarcoat anything. We need people who will call out our sins and speak out against our wrong doings.
However if we carry ourselves as though we are angels incapable of sinning we will always find ourselves at the short end of the stick. We will find ourselves falling consistently.
It is important that we surround ourselves with God fearing people so that when we are found falling they will be there to break that fall. We must get out of that mindset of appearing put together. We all need accountability. Do not think too highly of yourself. Do not keep yourself out of the company of believers surround yourself with them because you need them in your corner. Those who fall alone are in deep trouble, but those who have accountability will make it through.
Do not only look for someone who will be accountable for you but you also live a life that will allow you keep someone accountable also.
