John 8:10-11
“Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
At some point in our lives we have all been this woman. We have all stood in our sin with our accusers pointing their fingers at us. In some of our cases our accusers are ourselves and in other cases they are outward. No matter the how they come we have faced them before. That sin you committed that has caused the whole world to close in against you. That sin that you can never forgive yourself for. That sin you believe can never be forgiven even by God, and many more. Regardless of the sin or of the accusers we have a redeemer who forgives us in a manner that we may never understand.
We have a restorer who is willing and ready to restore you from your sins and your mistakes. Do you find yourself in a peculiar situation? Are you finding yourself in a sin that you cannot break away from. Christ is giving you a chance today to walk away from your sins. He is giving you an opportunity to walk away from your filth. Though the world may seem to be against you, and though you may be against yourself, God is with you and He is ready to free you from your bondage and your accusers. Whatever your sin He is able to bring freedom. You have a chance this day to repent and return no more to your sins. Just a Christ gave that woman a second chance He is offering you a second chance this moment. Take it with joy and repent truly and fully from your old ways. He is giving you life so take it.
