Ephesians 1:4-5
“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—”
Before anything came into being God chose you. He didn’t sadly get stuck with you. There isn’t any mistake where you are concerned. He chose you knowing everything you’ll ever do. He chose you knowing that you’ll sin against Him and at times chose the things of the world over Him. Yet He chose you in love, and adopted you into sonship through Himself. So don’t ever think your sin is too great or that you’re too worthless to come before Him, because He knew what you were going to do before you did it, but He CHOSE you with His eyes wide open. It wasn’t a mistake.
He loves you and He always will. Do not allow anyone tell you otherwise. If you’re going through anything or even feel too worthless to go before Him, do it anyways. His arms are wide open waiting for you. The enemy doesn’t want you to experience His love or forgiveness but you must not allow him to take that from you. Go to Him remembering that He chose you despite your flaws and shortcomings. He’s waiting for you so trust Him.
