Jeremiah 1:6-8
“Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.”
As we all know God is not a respecter of man. He is not moved by age, intellect, wealth, circumstance or any wave of this world. He is only moved by Himself. The fears that cripple us does not face Him. He is able to do anything at any given time regardless of circumstance. Yet the fear and uncertainty of life fill our hearts with so many different excuses. We often feel as though we’re too young to do something or in some cases too old. Other times we feel underqualified or undeserving of it. What we fail to realize is that God is again not a respecter of man. He’s not worried about our age or our positions in life.
He can use anyone for anything. He can do the most unthinkable and impossible thing through us. We need only to have faith and let go of our fears. So if God is calling you into something, whether familiar or unfamiliar I want to encourage you to take a step of faith and just go for it because the one who has called you is able to do exceedingly and abundantly and there’s absolutely nothing beyond His reach. So trust in Him and move when He asks you to!
Do not be afraid. Do not run away from God when He calls you. He already has plans for your life, and He is very capable of bringing to fruition. He can do everything he has said he would do. So do not discredit yourself, in doing you credit God.
