Acts 14:9
“This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed,”
Faith is a very powerful element. It is one of the main currency’s in this journey we embark as Christians. It is faith that can move mountains and that same faith that can keep your eyes fixated on Christ. It is faith that enables you to hold step fast onto hope.
It is amazing how much power this single 5 letter word hold. Faith can speak and it can defend its own self. In the scripture above the man gains his healing not by crying out loud or by begging, rather he gains His healing through virtue of the silent cry of his faith. His faith was seen. It was visible and audible. It was when Paul saw that he had faith the he began to pay attention to him. It was when his faith began to converse with Paul that he got attention. Attention that he probably did not ever imagine receiving. Faith has a voice and it is up to us to allow it to rise. No matter what you’re going through in your life be reminded that your faith has a voice. Therefore even in moments where you cannot physically rise, allow your faith to do the rising on your behalf. Even when you cannot speak, let your faith speak for you.
