Psalm 86:2
Protect me, for I am devoted to you. Save me, for I serve you and trust you. You are my God.
God cares for his own. He wouldn’t forsake His children and leave them to perish. It is a beautiful thing to devote yourself to Christ. To give your heart, your mind, your body, your spirit, and your soul to the one who has your life in the palm of His hands.
When you devote yourself to Christ, He keeps you, and He meets you at the point of every need. He even meets the desires you hide from Him. When you are devoted to Christ, you are not subject to a defeated life, but instead, you have hope. When God is the one on your mind, and the one you are concerned with, you are not easily affected by life.
If you serve the Lord faithfully and trust in Him and in the power of His might nothing in this world can overtake you. When you devote your life to Him, to serving Him and doing His will, He shows up and shows out in every instance of your life. Sometimes it may seem that life has had its way with you, but do not be discouraged. Remember your creator always and remember the authority that He holds. Remember what He did in the days of old and believe that He is the same God who can do all things.
