2 Corinthians 9:7
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
What do you have to give? Is it money? Is it time, resource, food, listening ear, gifts, etc.? What ever you have been privileged to give, give it cheerfully. Give with your heart full of joy and grace. Give with laughter and smiles in your bosom. After all, you have what you have because of grace. You also be generous.
Decide what you want to give this season. Identify someone you can help and give your all to help them. Do not give with a heart that only gives because of what it might gain in return. Do not pervert what giving really means. We have been given, and have received the greatest gift of all time. The only begotten Son of God. Just as He has given to us, let us also give to others. Nothing is too small, food, blankets, soaks, clothes, smiles, the Word. Everything counts. Give cheerfully in this season and be blessed.
