2 Corinthians 5:7
For we live by believing and not by seeing.
When you look at life you will realize that the majority of us like to consider ourselves visual. Though there’s nothing wrong with being visual some of us go a step further by convincing ourselves and others that we are people that need to see before we believe. We pride ourselves with “if I don’t see it I’m not putting my trust or my believe in it.” Contrary to what most of us believe, seeing does not come before believing, not in any book and definitely not in our Christian walk.
It will be almost impossible to be a Christian is we require to first see before believing. The nature of our walk and our relationship is one which calls first for our hearts and our trust. If we do not believe that God is able to do all things we will never see Him do anything. This is because believing is the very element that pilots this life. It is what moves our relationship with the Lord. Seeing is not believing, but to believe is to see what you believed in come into fruition.
Believe in the Lord and in His word. Trust Him enough and know that He is faithful enough to give you all He says He will give you. With God you do not need to see before putting your heart in Him. Put your heart, mind, body, spirit, and soul into Him believe in Him, for through that you will see more that you can ever hope for.
