The Lord Jesus Christ is filled with compassion and as His followers we too should be filled with that same compassion. How great this world would be if we loved as selflessly as Christ did, or even if we treated people the way He treated us. Day in and day out God shows us divine mercies and one of the ways we can follow closer behind Him is by showing mercy to those who need it most. We see people all the time but we don’t know what goes on within their hearts. We do not know who is longing for the love of Christ, and that is the more reason we should put on our Spirit man and walk in compassion.
When we are filled with compassion we are moved to show love and to do things without a second thought. Each one of you filled with the Spirit of the Most High has a lot to offer, from teaching someone a skill, giving to others, and rendering your time for the benefit of someone else can help people when they need it most. As a people set out for God we must pray for a compassionate spirit for the glory of the Lord. Open your eyes and your hearts today and intentionally love someone with the love of Christ. There is definitely someone out there today who is in desperate need of love and compassion. Be the Christ someone needs today and every other day
