Philippians 2:14-15

“Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.”‭‭

When you identify yourself as a believer there are eyes that settle upon you. They settle on you to see if you are truly who you say you are. In the same vain there aare standards that both the people of the world and fellow Christians will hold you to, and as a true believer you must live up to those standards.

When you proclaim you are a believer you become a representation of Christ and those around you expect differently from you. This is rightfully so because being a follower of Christ has its own standards and limitations. As a believer there must be a clear distinction between you and everyone else. You must be different and that difference must be recognizable. If a person should ever wonder where you stand as a believer, you need to re-evaluate and change your life. As a believer you must shine bright. No matter where you find yourself, you should easily be identified without doubt. You must always be the light and you must always represent that which is good. In this perverse world be holy and let the God in you reign supreme in all you do. Live a clean life worthy of the name of God. Be different in this world of perverseness.
