Hebrews 3:13
You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.
It’s a blessing to have people in your life. It’s a greater blessing to be able to influence those in your life. As Christians we need to get to a place where we are 1. unapologetic about our faith and stance in Christ and 2. What we do and don’t accept. Whether we like it or not we have the responsibility to look out for one another. To call each other out in complete love when necessary.
Truth is there are those instances where one knows what is right and what is wrong but they lack the self control and for that reason they need someone to keep them accountable. We are all our bothers keeper. While it is still today let us be vigilant and watchful for one another. Let us carry one another whenever necessary. No one from the outside can stand for us as much as we can for one another.
It doesn’t matter how strong someone might be. We can all be deceived by sin if we are not careful. Something as deadly as pride can be so subtle and unnoticed for years. In some way we are all vulnerable, but if we look out for one another we will not give sin the power to overcome us.
Do not see yourself highly than you ought. As you correct others and help them, you too be accepting of corrections. Do not harden your heart, be open to receiving warning and corrections even as you hand them out to others. If we do this we as a body will go far and stand stronger than ever before.
